 High Level Teaching Assistant

Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Required: September 2020

Salary: Scale 5, TT only – point 12 to 18, £21,589-£24,313 (pro rata £18,533.33-£20,871.78)

Hours: 8am-4pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-3.30pm Friday. (30 minutes lunch)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated HLTA to join our Aspiration Centre (SEN team) in September.

The successful candidate will have HLTA status or a relevant professional qualification and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work as part of a team, building positive relationships with children, teaching staff, support staff and parents.

We look for talented and driven individuals who are passionate about their subject and who share our belief that every child should have the best possible education, enabling them to fulfil their potential and decide their own future.

 Pastoral Manager

Role: Pastoral and Behaviour Support Manager

Salary: NJC SCP 19-22 (£24,799 to £26,317 FTE)

Working Pattern: 8.00am – 4.00pm (Monday – Thursday) and 8.00-3.30pm Friday 37 hours per week, term time only

Portslade Aldridge Community Academy (PACA) is a successful, forward thinking Academy, which maintains high expectations of both staff and students.  We are a state funded Academy and we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people/vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

PACA is seeking to appoint a Pastoral and Behaviour Support Manager to support the growing school.  The post is for a non-teaching professional who will be responsible for supporting the heads of year and Assistant Principal in ensuring that all students achieve their potential by removing barriers to learning such as poor conduct.

The post will have the benefit of continuous professional development in a school that takes the well-being of its staff seriously.
