Performing Arts & Music

Music is taught at KS3 with the option to take a Level 2 Course in Years 9, 10, and 11. In addition to this there are practice rooms for students to use before, during and after school.

A wider variety of opportunities than ever is now on offer at PACA for experienced and beginner musicians including choirs and band workshops.

Performing Arts

Drama, dance and music are all areas that provide students with the ability to work together and gain confidence. Regular showcases, talent contests and productions develop students’ performance and production skills.

The curriculum is strengthened by going to see professional productions such as The Lion King at the LyceumTheatre, Twelfth Night at the Brighton Open Air Theatre and A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Pavilion Studio Theatre.

Trips also regularly take place to the Brighton Festival and for the last couple of years we attended a Glyndebourne production.

This year PACA’s end of year production was Hairspray.
