We now know that Year 11s will get grades set by teachers based on mock results and teacher assessment. Coursework will continue to be important. Students who want to resit their exams to boost their grades will have a chance to do so in the autumn. For more information please click here.
Access to computers
We recognise that not all families have access to computers. PACA have a limited number of laptops. During this time we are able to loan a small number of these laptops. The arrangements are that parents put down a small deposit which is returned when the lap top comes back once school resumes. Obviously we can only loan a laptop on the understanding that school work will be completed. If you feel that the only way to support your child’s learning during this period is to borrow a lap top, please do contact us at email@example.com.
Economic effects of COVID-19
We are currently working with a money advice expert on sources of support in the event of financial hardship.
Year 6 parents
We will continue to make contact with you about preparations to join PACA with the expectations that we will run the transition events that we have planned. In the absence of SATs testing we will buy in Cognitive Abilities Testing at the start of year 7 to help us understand your child’s educational needs.
