PACA 6 Results 2019

We are very proud to share the success of the PACA Year 13 cohort who have passed their Level 3 courses, achieving some exceptional results.

Courses with particular successes included Sport and Sport Science, for which 75% of entries achieved the top Distinction* grade.

From this cohort we have two students who made a particular contribution to both PACA and the Aldridge Cricket Academy: Luke Chafer who captained the cricket team who has secured a place at Glasgow University, and Ariana Dowse who was a member of the Hampshire Women’s team that won the Royal London One Day Competition in 2018 and playing for Hampshire Women and Southern Vipers RDC this year.

Principal Mark Poston commented: “We are delighted for our students who have achieved a really impressive set of outcomes and who have made the most of the opportunities that PACA and the Aldridge Academies have on offer. I would also like to make special mention of three other students (pictured below) whose results showed great progress in their time at PACA. Tremaine Brindley and Saul Crichlow joined the Sixth Form not having previously achieved passing grades at GCSE, but went on to successfully complete their resits and passed all of their Level 3 qualifications. Kieran Ross who, as a young carer, had to manage his work to complete his college courses while also being the stable figure in his household.”

We are incredibly proud of these and all of our students who achieved well and have set themselves on a pathway to future successes. We wish them the very best in the months and years ahead as they go on to future success.”

I am heading to the University of East Anglia to study Physical Education as that is something that I have always been very keen on studying.

I have been at PACA for 7 years and have seen a lot of changes. Recently I have noticed the school is moving in a great direction and looking forward to seeing it in the coming years.

After 7 years at PACA, I have been though several challenges and had many responsibilities. I am delighted to final have my results, which will allow me to take a gap year and progress to university next year. I want to say thank you to all the teachers and staff that have helped me though my time here and PACA will always be in my heart for years to come.
