The school provides tailored study support both in and out of lessons for all students and makes full use of Pupil Premium and the Aspiration Centre to ensure students are successful in their studies.
The Library is open during the school day for Academy use and after school every day and Saturday mornings for all pupils who want to do their homework at school or use the computers.
There are also a number of regular revision and study clubs running after school. There are regular supervised maths and English clubs for students who want to practice or enhance what they have been learning in lessons, or who need some help with homework. Other subjects offer weekly study clubs for exam students to help revise, practice papers or complete assignments and course work.
Staff will give students the day and time of the study or revision clubs for their year group. If there are two they want to attend running at the same time, the form tutor will help your child decide which clubs are most appropriate for their needs.
