Welcome to PACA

PACA is a co-educational school for 11 to 18 year olds based in the heart of the Mile Oak Community in Portslade, Brighton. There has been significant development of the Academy site over recent years with £12.7million being invested in an impressive new state of the art building and fantastic new facilities such as a Dance studio, Mac suite, community library, superb sixth form and a STEM Centre.

PACA6 is still accepting students for A levels, BTECS and Level 2. If your plans have changed for whatever reason, why not come to PACA6 for an informal chat about what we could offer you.

Community School of the Year

PACA has been awarded Community School of the Year (2016) by The Argus, Youth in Action Awards. We won with a record number of votes, we were delighted to accept this accolade.

“PACA takes the community in its name very seriously. We believe we have as much to gain from being immersed in our community as we have to give” – Kate Scott (Principal)

PACA’s GCSE maths results place them 2nd in Brighton and Hove for the grades that students achieved. This is in addition to producing fantastic progress from their starting points.

PACA’s English results are amongst the best in the city and are 10% above the national average.

The progress that students make at PACA is the strongest in the city, possibly the strongest. This will be confirmed when the national data is validated in February.
