PACA students spent an evening at the University of Sussex at a lecture on artificial intelligence by the famous Professor Maggie Boden. The riveting presentation was followed by a Q and A session in which students made the most of the opportunity to ask all of their most searching questions.
PACA governor Dr Simon Thompson, who also hosted the students during their visit, said “I has never seen students to be so involved in a lecture, taking notes throughout and be so attentive all the way through. The questions they asked were very interesting and engaging.”
Professor Boden is a research professor of cognitive science at the Department of Informatics, where her work involves the various disciplines of artificial intelligence, psychology, philosophy, cognitive and computer science.
